In the early morning hours, as I sipped my coffee and watched the sun rise over the city skyline, I found myself completely engrossed in the world of Young Rich Widows audiobook. This thrilling tale, written by four talented authors – Kimberly Belle, Layne Fargo, Cate Holahan, and Vanessa Lillie – had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish.

The story takes place in Providence, Rhode Island in 1985, a time filled with mystery and intrigue. When a private airplane carrying four partners of a mafia-linked law firm crashes just outside of NYC, four very different women find themselves widowed. Justine, Camille, Krystle, and Meredith each have their own secrets and motives as they navigate through the aftermath of their husbands’ deaths.

The narration by Dina Pearlman, Karissa Vacker, Helen Laser, and Ariel Blake was exceptional. Each narrator brought depth and emotion to their respective characters, making it easy for me to connect with them on a personal level.

Young Rich Widows is not for the faint of heart. It delves into dark themes and includes strong language and descriptions of violence. However, if you enjoy gripping thrillers that keep you guessing until the very end, this audiobook is definitely worth a listen.
