As someone in her 30s, I often reflect on life’s fleeting nature and the legacy we leave behind. So, the concept of Abigail Gentian fragmenting into numerous clones, each wandering the cosmos, deeply resonated with me.

The thought of these clones, each with a snippet of the original essence, scattered and wandering for millions of years before reuniting, felt like a metaphor for our human journey. We go about our lives, collecting experiences, memories, and insights, eventually hoping to share them, enriching those who come after us.

With every plot twist, my heart raced alongside the Gentians as they discovered the looming threat. I found myself pausing occasionally, looking up at the vast sky, and pondering – are we truly alone? Or are there Gentians among us, witnesses to our evolution, our rise, and our potential fall?

John Lee’s narration was a cherry on the cake. His voice, modulating for different characters, painted vivid images, making the experience even more immersive. By the time I drained my cup, the sun was up, and my day had kickstarted with a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions.
