The Harlequin introduces us to a group of powerful vampires known as The Harlequin, who unexpectedly return to wreak havoc in the vampire world. Anita, our fearless protagonist, finds herself in their crosshairs and calls for help, only to be met with disappointment from her lover.

The author briefly touches on the origin of The Harlequin at the beginning but then shifts focus to Anita’s predicament without delving deeper into this intriguing aspect. Previous books in the series provided more complete storylines, leaving me wanting more details about Anita’s future amidst this current crisis.

Despite this minor drawback, The Harlequin is excellently written and will keep you captivated until the very end. If you’re a fan of mystery, thriller, and suspense novels with a touch of paranormal elements, this audiobook is a must-listen.
