Cuddled up in my favorite armchair with a steaming mug of hot cocoa, I decided to let Angie Sage’s Physik transport me back to childhood whimsy. A part of the enchanting Septimus Heap series, this third installment doesn’t disappoint.

Right from the beginning, the tale unfolded with delightful mysteries as Silas Heap unveiled a sealed room, inadvertently releasing the ghost of Queen Etheldredda. The descriptions painted a vivid picture of this long-gone queen, bringing to life her devious nature both in life and death.
