In the fourth book in the Harry Potter series, Harry gets back to his fourth year at the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in Hogwarts with his companions Ron and Hermione.
“There will be three tasks, spaced throughout the school year, and they will test the champions in many different ways … their magical prowess – their daring – their powers of deduction – and, of course, their ability to cope with danger.”
The Triwizard Tournament is to be held at Hogwarts. Only wizards who are over seventeen are allowed to enter – but that doesn’t stop Harry dreaming that he will win the competition.
Then at Hallowe’en, when the Goblet of Fire makes its selection, Harry is amazed to find his name is one of those that the magical cup picks out. He will face death-defying tasks, dragons and Dark wizards, but with the help of his best friends, Ron and Hermione, he might just make it through – alive!

The Goblet of Fire Audiobook free has always been one of my favorite audiobooks in the series, simply because Rowling starts to explore darker, more complex themes than in her previous audiobooks. Rowling foreshadows so many things in this novel that you will only pick up on after listening to the audiobook and its successors multiple times. The twists in the plot are surprising and exciting, some scenes left me breathless with anticipation and wanting more. Cedric’s death proved the return of Lord Voldemort – brutal and uncompromising.

I like it but it has a weird narration.

I love Stephen Fry’s narration! Definitely one of my favorite books and the amount of character that Fry use to portray each character was amazing! His Hagrid voice is spot on! Loved this experience! <3

These book are truly incredible and Stephen Frys narration is SO good. His rhetoric and understanding of grammatical cues really creates a uniquely enjoyable listening experience. Anyone who calls his narration “weird,” doesn’t really understand what makes a great voice performance
