From the first chapter, I was hooked. The stakes felt higher than ever as America navigated her feelings for Prince Maxon while grappling with external threats that loomed over the palace. Cass masterfully weaves tension and romance together, creating moments that made my heart race one minute and ache the next. The emotional depth of America’s character shines through in this book – her vulnerability, determination, and growth are palpable. It’s rare to find a protagonist who feels so real, but America is one of them.

Amy Rubinate’s narration was nothing short of exceptional. Her ability to capture America’s voice – full of hope, fear, and resilience – added layers to an already compelling story.
