Jericho Barrons, the enigmatic man who becomes Mac’s reluctant ally (or is he more than that?), is one of those characters you can’t quite figure out but can’t stop thinking about either. His mysterious nature kept me guessing throughout the entire book.

She brought each character to life in a way that made me feel like I was right there alongside Mac, navigating this dangerous new world.
