Some did not like the switching between first and third person perspective and the women are weak. Some felt the novel’s plot to be a little paranoid and make people worry that the government is going to screw things up and push us into an apocalypse. Some did not like the way the women were a little on the weak side, and relied on the men folk to take care of things for them. Some did not like Morgan’s wife and felt that she whined the whole time and is a spoiled woman. She does not help all that much, just whines. Some felt that it was too anti-government and the characters were extremes (either good or bad, no in between).
